A little housekeeping

What we count

We use our own website analytics to understand visits to the shop and Halloween guide, guide download clicks, coupon copies, shopping links and visits to checkout. We record the time, page and broad device category, plus the referring website name and campaign labels when available.

The hosting service may supply an approximate country. This can be inaccurate, particularly with a VPN. We do not collect a precise location or store IP addresses in our analytics.

A random, anonymous visit ID groups activity in the same browser tab. It uses session storage and starts a new visit after 30 minutes of inactivity. It does not identify you by name or follow you across other websites. We do not record email addresses, full referral URLs, passwords, payment details or text you type into our pages.

Reports cover up to 90 days. Older activity is deleted when the website next receives an analytics event or a report is opened.

Your choice

Browser “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control signals keep this tracking off. You can also turn it off for this browser below.

Downloads and purchases

The Halloween guide does not require an account or email address. Payhip handles purchases and delivery of the full kit, with payment processing through its payment providers. Purchase details belong to that checkout process and are not added to these website analytics.

For previously purchased games, your purchase email and order are used to provide access. Resend delivers the sign-in email, and a sign-in cookie keeps the host signed in. Names and stories entered into those games stay in your browser.
